To uphold research integrity, prevent academic misconduct, and ensure the authenticity, accuracy, and transparency of the research process and results, all content of the manuscript must be verified by the authors, who shall bear full responsibility for its accuracy and completeness. The relevant matters concerning the use of AI tools in the writing and review process of journal papers are stated as follows:
1. AI, its products, and teams shall not be credited as authors of the paper. Authors must be natural persons who can bear corresponding responsibilities and accountabilities.
2. The use of AI to write the entire paper or the main text content such as research methods and result analysis is prohibited. All content falling within the scope of scientific contributions or intellectual labor shall be completed by the authors. If the main content of the paper is completed using AI tools, the editorial department will handle it in accordance with academic misconduct.
3. Generative AI images and data are prohibited unless AI is used as a method of research recording. Processed images must be disclosed with a detailed description of the methods attached.
4. Authors shall bear full responsibility for all content of the paper. If AI is used to complete auxiliary work (such as code generation, data visualization support, and literature review assistance), the tool information and content review status shall be explained after the main text and before the references, or in the methodology section of the main text. The use that does not involve the academic nature and accuracy of the content (such as polishing and proofreading, reference management) does not require additional explanation.
5. Reviewers and editors shall not upload manuscripts to AI platforms for the purpose of formulating review comments; if a reviewer suspects improper use of AI by the authors, he/she should report to the editorial department and explain it in the review comments.
