Abstract: Lactoferricin bovine(LfcinB) is a kind of small peptide which derives from lactoferrin when it was mainly generated by the pepsin-mediated digestion from N-terminal of lactoferrin. It contains 25 amino acids residues and a number of biological functions, including antimicrobial, anticancer, antioxidant and immunomodulatory effects. So LfcinB has become the focus of research. To date, high process production costs made it difficult to produce on more commercial level scale. Genetic engineering will be the best method to produce LfcinB. This paper gave an overview on antimicrobial activities of LfcinB and its production by genetic engineering including the advantage and improve, which aimed to provide new ideas about genetic engineering produce LfcinB.

摘要: 牛乳铁蛋白肽(lactoferricin bovine,LfcinB)是由乳铁蛋白(lactoferrin)经酸性胃蛋白酶降解N端而产生的含25个氨基 酸残基的小肽,它具有抗菌、抗癌、抗氧化、免疫调节等一系列生物活性,成为目前研究与开发的热点。由于受到生产成本的 限制,无法进行大规模商业化生产,基因工程技术将是实现大规模生产的最佳途径。对牛乳铁蛋白肽的抑菌功能以及基因工程 制备的优势和改良方法进行了综述,旨在为基因工程生产牛乳铁蛋白肽提供新思路。
